Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs your use of the Xobuya platform, apps, and services provided by Xobuya Operations Pty Ltd. By using Xobuya, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Permitted Use

Xobuya is designed for legitimate business operations including quoting, job management, invoicing, payments, CRM, and related business activities. You may use the platform to:

Create and send quotes, invoices, and purchase orders to your customers and suppliers
Manage leads, clients, jobs, and schedules
Process payments through integrated payment providers
Communicate with customers via SMS and email through the platform
Store business-related documents, images, and data
Integrate with supported third-party services (accounting, calendar, etc.)

Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Xobuya platform to:

Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) via SMS or email
Store, transmit, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or connected systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
Use the platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity
Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, including through excessive API calls, denial-of-service attacks, or similar actions
Share your account credentials with unauthorised individuals
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform through automated means without permission
Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or compromise the platform
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without written consent from Xobuya

Messaging & Communications

When using Xobuya's SMS and email features, you must:

Only send messages to recipients who have a legitimate business relationship with you or who have consented to receive communications
Comply with all applicable anti-spam laws, including the Australian Spam Act 2003 and the US CAN-SPAM Act
Include accurate sender identification in all messages
Honour opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly

Data & Content

You are responsible for the data you upload, store, and process through Xobuya. You must ensure that:

You have the necessary rights and permissions to use and store any data you upload
Customer personal information is collected and handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws
You maintain appropriate backups of your critical business data

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must:

Use a strong, unique password for your Xobuya account
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
Ensure that team members with access to your account are aware of and comply with this policy

Enforcement

If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take action including:

Issuing a warning and requesting immediate corrective action
Temporarily suspending your access to the platform
Permanently terminating your account
Reporting illegal activities to the appropriate authorities

Where possible, we will provide notice before taking action and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. However, we reserve the right to take immediate action without notice for serious violations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform.
