Xobuya Alternatives: An Honest Guide to Window Coverings Software in 2026

Last updated: June 2026

If you're researching software for a window coverings business, you've probably typed something like "blinds business software" or "window treatment quoting software" into Google and found a dozen options. This page is an honest guide to all of them, including the ones that compete with us.

We've written it because most "alternatives" pages on the internet are thinly-disguised pitches. This one isn't. If a competitor is genuinely the best fit for your business, we'll tell you.

How to choose, in 60 seconds

Before you compare features, work out which of these describes you best. It narrows the field fast:

You sell mainly in Australia. Look closely at BlinQ, BUZ, Smartpad Pro, and Xobuya. All four are AU-built and understand the local market.

You sell mainly in the US. Look closely at BlindsBook, MyBlindCo, One Click Contractor, and Xobuya. Quoterite and BlindMatrix also serve the US.

You operate across multiple countries. Look at BlindMatrix (seven countries), Quoterite (six countries), and Xobuya (AU and US).

You're primarily a manufacturer or wholesaler. BUZ, BlindMatrix, and MyBlindCo Enterprise have the strongest manufacturing and trade-customer features. Xobuya is built more for retailers and installers.

You're a retailer or installer. Xobuya, BlinQ, Smartpad Pro, BlindsBook, and MyBlindCo are all built for this segment.

You're a Luxaflex retailer specifically. Smartpad Pro is Luxaflex's official software partner.

You're a general trades business (not just window coverings). Tradify is built for that.

You sell multiple home improvement categories, not just window coverings. One Click Contractor is built for that.

You want AI-powered quoting. Quoterite and Xobuya both lean into AI, with different approaches.

You're still on spreadsheets and want to know if it's time to switch. See our spreadsheets vs Xobuya comparison.

Job management platform built for general tradespeople: electricians, plumbers, HVAC, builders, painters. ~20,000 customers across NZ, AU, and UK. Native mobile apps, strong scheduling, timesheets, and job costing. Acquired by The Access Group in late 2024.

Best for: General trades businesses across multiple service categories, not window-coverings-only shops. Full comparison →

Other tools you may encounter

FLOWRiX. eCommerce-focused all-in-one for blinds, shutters, curtains, doors, and awnings. Best for businesses with a strong online-sales focus.

Drape and Blind Software. US window treatment software with quote-order-track workflow. Smaller installed base than the names above.

Windowware Pro. US window treatment estimating software for dealers. Mature but less actively developed.

Spreadsheets and manual quoting. Still the most common "system" in the industry. Often the right call for small shops. See when manual stops working →

Where Xobuya fits

We're not on this list as a neutral observer. Xobuya is one of the alternatives. Here's our honest pitch:

Xobuya is built for window coverings retailers and installers who quote in the field as much as the showroom. It runs natively on every device your team uses (iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS, Windows), works offline, and includes a conversational AI quote builder that turns a rep's plain-English job description into a structured quote.

You should probably look at us if:

  • You sell into AU or US (or both)
  • Your reps quote in customers' homes
  • You want a modern interface and frequent updates
  • You don't want to pay a setup fee
  • You're tired of using a web app on a phone in someone's lounge with one bar of signal

You should probably look elsewhere if:

  • You're a serious manufacturer needing full ERP (look at BlindMatrix or BUZ)
  • You sell across multiple home improvement categories (look at One Click)
  • You operate in countries we don't yet support (look at BlindMatrix or Quoterite)
  • You're a small shop on spreadsheets doing under 5 quotes a week (stay where you are)

That's the honest version.

A note on how we built this page

Every fact about a competitor on this page is sourced from their own marketing site or from public third-party reviews. We haven't run secret demos. If we've got something wrong, email us at hello@xobuya.io and we'll fix it. Several competitors are also welcome to send us updated information directly.

We update this page when competitors update their products. If you're a competitor reading this and we've missed a recent change on your side, let us know.

Book a 30-minute call and we'll walk through your specific business shape, your current pain points, and which of the platforms above (including us) is likely the best fit. If it's not us, we'll say so.

We'd rather have you in the right tool than the wrong one. Bad fits churn, and churn helps no one.
